Exegy, the market data technology firm, will distribute the EuroCTP real-time consolidated tape through its Axiom market data service and Ticker Plant appliances when the European tape goes live on September 14, 2026.

EuroCTP is the European Union’s first real-time pre- and post-trade consolidated tape for shares and exchange-traded funds. Its multicast FIX SBE feed will be accessible through Exegy’s platforms from the date of launch.

Exegy said it had expanded an existing technology partnership with EuroCTP, which was initiated in 2024, to take on the role of redistribution partner for the real-time feed. The company’s market data platform computes the European Best Bid and Offer (EBBO), a key component of the consolidated tape.

The addition of the EuroCTP feed will bring consolidated trading activity from approximately 130 European trading venues and reporting platforms into Exegy’s Axiom service, which already aggregates real-time market data from more than 300 venues worldwide.

Arnaud Derasse, chief technology officer of Exegy, said the company had focused on reducing the burden of onboarding for firms seeking access to the new tape. “Axiom enables firms to take full advantage of their trading strategies without requiring an internal rebuild to access the EuroCTP tape, helping reduce onboarding time, costs, and operational complexity,” he said.

Exegy said its platform normalises data across multiple trading environments, enabling clients to pursue price discovery for global multi-asset strategies through a single access point.

The EuroCTP tape is a regulatory initiative under the EU’s revised Markets in Financial Instruments Directive framework, designed to improve market transparency across fragmented European equity markets. Prior to its launch, no single consolidated source of real-time pre- and post-trade data existed across European venues.

Firms using Axiom will be able to access the tape from September 14 without additional operational infrastructure, Exegy said.
